Mooney viscometer is useful to test the vicosity quality of rubber and plastic. It measures the change in rubber and plastic elastomer over time. That is providing frequency conversion type Mooney Viscometer.
The testing sample is deformed using a rotating platen. Thus, it determines the changing levels of viscosity at the current temperature.
