Incline Plane Coefficient of Friction Tester

The Incline Plane Coefficient of Friction Tester (Manually Operated) determines the coefficient of static friction. It is suitable for most packaging materials. It measures measuring the angle at which one test surface begins to slide against another inclined surface. The incline increases at a constant and prescribed rate.

As the plane rises, the operator can detect the first sign of movement from the sled. And also recording of the relevant angle of the incline. Thus, you can call it slide angle.  The coefficient of friction is numerically equivalent to the tangent of that angle.

This manual C.O.F. tester is manual. Therefore, costs less compared to our automated model. This machine is useful for carton boxes, corrugated boards. As well as leather, non-woven and textiles.
