These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the IDM Instruments website and related online forms, including quote requests, service bookings, instrument registrations, and warranty submissions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

2. Website Information

Information on this website is provided for general guidance only. While we aim for accuracy, specifications, pricing, availability, lead times, and content may change without notice.

3. Quotes, Orders & Pricing

All quotations are subject to change until accepted in writing. Prices are typically exclusive of taxes, duties, freight, installation, and commissioning unless otherwise stated. Orders are subject to IDM Instruments acceptance.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as stated on the quotation, invoice, or approved credit agreement. Late payments may incur collection costs or suspension of supply/support services. 

5. Extended Warranty – Eligibility & Conditions

This offer is available exclusively on eligible new Instruments products. Customers who agree and purchase a minimum three (3) year IDM Calibration & Service Plan with a qualifying instrument will be entitled to receive an additional twelve (12) months of extended warranty coverage.

Eligibility for the extended warranty is subject to product registration, approval by IDM Instruments, and the service agreement remaining active and in good standing for the full duration of the plan.

Failure to maintain an active service agreement may result in the forfeiture of the extended warranty.

6. Instrument Registration

Instrument registration forms must contain accurate purchase and serial number information. IDM Instruments may request proof of purchase and may reject or amend registrations where information is incomplete or inaccurate.

7. Calibration & Service

Calibration and service results apply only to the instrument condition at the time of testing/service. Ongoing performance depends on handling, environment, maintenance, and subsequent use. 

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory legislation. 

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the courts of Victoria.

10. Changes to Terms

IDM Instruments may update these Terms at any time by publishing revised terms on this website. Continued use of the website indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
